Welcoming Dr Patrick Nwagbogu to the Prometheus Team
We are delighted to announce the arrival of Dr Patrick Nwagbogu who joins our expanding team at an exciting time of growth and development. Dr Nwagbogu, C&A psychiatrist of Nimbus Psychiatry welcomes the opportunity to work as part of our multidiciplinary team here at Prometheus.
Experience That Inspires Confidence
With over 15 years’ experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, including time at leading hospitals such as Great Ormond Street, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, Dr Nwagbogu’s expertise is both broad and deep. Families can feel confident that they are receiving care informed by the highest standards of training and practice.
A Focus on Neurodiversity
Dr Nwagbogu has a long-standing special interest in neurodevelopmental conditions including ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, tic disorders, and epilepsy. For many children and families, these challenges can feel overwhelming and complex, often requiring not just therapeutic support but also medical input.
His arrival means Prometheus can now offer a more joined-up pathway for families navigating these issues. Working closely with our psychologists and therapists, Dr Nwagbogu will ensure that each child’s needs are assessed and addressed holistically, with the right blend of therapeutic and medical support. This integration is something we know makes a real difference to outcomes for children and young people.
A Strong Multidisciplinary Approach
One of the things that makes Prometheus distinctive is our emphasis on teamwork. We believe that bringing together different professional perspectives is often the most effective way to help families find clarity and direction.
Dr Nwagbogu shares this vision wholeheartedly. He is passionate about collaborating with colleagues across disciplines, ensuring that medical and therapeutic perspectives complement rather than compete. This approach allows us to provide families with clear, consistent guidance – something that can feel hard to find when navigating complex systems.
We are excited about the difference his expertise will make for families, particularly those seeking clarity around neurodiversity and access to blended, multidisciplinary support. With Dr Nwagbogu on board, Prometheus is even better placed to provide the safe, professional, and compassionate care that every child and family deserves – and we are thrilled to welcome him.
