Steve is an experienced therapist and supervisor who has worked for 25 years in NHS Mental Health, with groups, families and individuals, specialising in the impact of adverse relational experiences on mental health; typically presenting a range problems that include low self-worth and lack of confidence, loss of emotional connection to others as well as ourselves, feeling over burdened by the demands of daily living, feeling stuck and unable to move on despite our best efforts to cope and get on top of things. Understandably this can lead to us feeling overwhelmed, out of control, anxious and depressed.

Change is worked on jointly together at a pace attuned to individual need. The therapy is focused and phased to help understand how problems start, recognise how they continue and then how they can change. It is structured yet flexible and although time limited not rigidly so, but time enough to review the whole process of therapy and what happens after the therapy ends. Further time framed extensions can be agreed if needed, usually after a short break.
