Dr Victoria Brown is an experienced Counselling Psychologist and psychotherapist who works with adults of all ages and adolescents (age 16-18). She has worked in primary care in the NHS and in hospital and community settings in the USA, providing individual and group therapy and supervision. Her work has included working in a college counselling centre and in private practice where she has supported people with a wide range of challenges and from many diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Her approach is flexible and she works with her clients and patients in partnership to create an approach. Her Doctoral studies included an existential and philosophical focus as well as psychological training. She has attended additional training on narrative therapy, dynamic interpersonal therapy (DIT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and various approaches for working with trauma.
Prior to working as a Counselling Psychologist, Victoria worked for twenty years as an Organisational Psychologist conducting in-depth psychological assessments and working with individuals and teams across a number of well known organisations. She is an accredited executive coach.
