Alex is a experienced and friendly Registered Nurse & a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who has worked within the NHS since 1995. He has experience in working with behaviour change, and he is open, personable and realistic in supporting his clients, whilst also working to evidence based treatments.

Alex offers CBT for all anxiety disorders, depression, addictions, and work related stress; all following NICE recommended treatments. He also offers dependency and behavioural change consultancy.

Whilst working in NHS Addiction Services he had experience of numerous Theoretical Models in supporting clients and decided to train within Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, which is goal orientated and evidence based, and found that this approach really worked for his patients and himself as the Therapist.

Studying at Plymouth University, Alex completed a Post Graduate Diploma as a High Intensity CBT Therapist in 2013. He continued on to become an Accredited Therapist in 2015. He works with Children and Adults with all Anxiety Disorders and Depression as well as Addictions.
