Jessica is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with 9 years of experience supporting clients with mental health difficulties in both inpatient and community settings. Specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Jessica offers evidence-based psychological support tailored to meet your needs and assist you to work towards your journey to achieving your recovery goals. In addition, Jessica also draws on her training in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), addressing intense feelings of shame and self-criticism. This therapeutic approach encourages the development of self-compassion, helping to ease emotional distress and support overall mental wellbeing.

Jessica offers treatment for people experiencing mental health difficulties including (but not limited to) depression, low self-esteem, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and eating disorders. She has worked alongside children, young people, adults, and parents/significant others in both private and NHS settings towards recovery.

Jessica is dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based psychological support, tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of her clients and support them on their path towards recovery. Jessica works in accordance with her professional bodies (BABCP) and regularly receives supervision with a CBT accredited supervisor to support her in doing so.

In your initial sessions, Jessica will take time to get to know you through a CBT assessment. Together, you’ll explore your experiences, challenges, and what might be keeping certain patterns going. You’ll also talk about what you hope to gain from therapy and decide together if it feels like the right path for you. This process usually takes between 1 to 4 sessions. Once therapy begins, you’ll work together to address your difficulties. CBT is grounded in the idea that meaningful change happens not just in the therapy room, but also in daily life. Therefore, you’ll often agree on small, manageable tasks to try between sessions, helping you build confidence and momentum. Toward the end of therapy, you and Jessica will create a plan to help you maintain your progress.

Jessica understands that therapy isn’t always easy — it takes courage, commitment, and effort. With patience and perseverance, therapy can become a powerful journey that brings lasting positive change to your life and well-being.
