Availability: Monday and Friday, with some flexibility on other days.
Dr Mari Aldridge is a highly experienced Registered Clinical Psychologist offering psychological therapy for adolescents (14-18), adults and couples presenting with a range of mental health and psychological difficulties. Dr Aldridge has a broad understanding of theories and therapy models and uses evidenced based interventions recognised by the NICE Guidelines.
Dr Aldridge is a Registered Clinical Psychologist and is also an Accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT). She has also completed training and is experienced in using Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
She is skilled in providing psychological therapy for a range of mental health and psychological presentations and primarily uses structured, goal-orientated, short- term therapy modalities. She has gained experience working in a number of settings including H. M. Prison Service, NHS Community Mental Health Teams and within private clinics.
Dr Aldridge is fully certified by HCPC, the BPS and the BABCP, and abides by the guidelines of her professional bodies. In accordance with this, Dr Aldridge has regular clinical supervision and engages in a wide range of continued professional development.
Dr Aldridge takes referrals directly, from GP’s, solicitors and health insurance companies.
