Dr Aneta Hamilton is a dedicated clinical psychologist currently working within the NHS, where she specialises in working with children and young people. Her clinical journey has been marked by versatility, having engaged with diverse teams, working across the lifespan and gaining invaluable experience in both community and inpatient settings.

During clinical training, Aneta’s roles included working with adults and adolescents in teams where focus extended beyond individual care, and involved working with families, and varied systems around individuals. Prior to entering doctoral training, Aneta gained experience in a Personality Disorders Team, where she facilitated Dialectical Behaviour Therapy groups and supported individuals struggling to access secondary services. Aneta also worked in the Talking Therapies team, delivering group and individual Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions. Prior to this, Aneta worked her way up in the private sector, from working as a therapeutic support worker to working as a therapeutic lead within residential children’s homes. This journey has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of working with individuals across different age groups and backgrounds.

Driven by a passion for creating compassionate and non-judgmental spaces, Aneta is committed to supporting individuals in exploring their experiences and understanding how these impact on their day-to-day life. In addition to her doctoral training, Aneta holds a foundation level in systemic practice and is embarking on further training in Cognitive Analytic Therapy to enhance her proficiency in relational approaches.
